Land Trust Formed

The Rehoboth Land Trust was organized last year through the efforts of a group of interested citizens. William O’Keefe, Johnathan Knowles, and E. Otis Dyer were elected as Trustees to serve during the initial organizational period of the Trust. The Trust was formed for the benefit of all inhabitants of Rehoboth to assist in the preservation of the rural and agricultural character of the town. The organization intends to acquire, preserve, and maintain areas for conservation. The Trust will also work in cooperation with and support activities of other conservation groups in town.
